I've got a nice size dent on my right side rocker panel. It's bad enough I'd like to replace the thing. Has anyone done this before? Can I buy the part new by Audi? Cost to cut and replace?
The rockerpanel is what we call the sills IIRC... And yes you should be able tu get the rocker panel from audi, but can´t you get the dent out?? i did on one of my previous S2,s.
Yes exactly! It is the lower sill on the body of the Coupe. Local dealer give me the NLA finger. I feel embarrassed but I squeezed the side of the sill against an unusually large curb at my bank enough so I have to replace it. Thanks Fish glad to know it's attainable. I'll post up a pic to show the hack job
Yes it can be pulled out by a half decent shop....
my friend did something even worse than you. He jacked the car up using the trunk jack that came with the car. Needless to say the thing went fubar and just about pushed the sill into a flat piece of metal. Body shop buddy I know pulled it out and you can't even tell where it was....even in strong light.
