You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Did anyone ever tried to do this? I think the removal itself is not too difficult, however you would need some rubber plugs to close up the holes or something else.
Unfortunately when I removed mine I found that they screwed onto a mounting lug, so you would have to get this cut off and ground down and repainted, and it wouldn't be possible to refit them

Woops! You just have healed me! And I thought it would be so simple to remove them
I used to really like the avant...up untill a few months ago.

I brought my s2 avant without the rails. Its an early one and never had the rails fitted i believe. There are no marks on the roof to suggest it ever had them and I love not having them. makes the car look slightly lower and more streamlined to me. As everyone says though. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder!
