Has this been done before?

So I had an idea.......
in america we don't have a 80 wagon, so in an attempt to use the items at our disposal, I came up with this.

and why waste the other rear end?


p.s. don't mind the horrid photoshop. That's a quicky to get a glimpse, but it's all the glimpse I need to know I would love to see one in reality.

and as stated in the title.
has anyone done this?

I'd sure love to do this myself, but I'm not in the right place or time in life. So if this hasn't been done, I sure hope someone will like the idea as much as me and whip it out

i have seen pics online of a limo i think, that used coupe doors. the project was not finished...

put a hardtop on a convertible and that just saved you a whole lot of body work

I tried to see what a short S2 would look like. Notice I changed the front screen angle too. To be in keeping with the typ85 shorty.... Don't know if it looks right though. Maybe with big flared arches that would finish it off.


And yes I did'nt think about a cabby with a roof on. Looks like I'll have to do the S2 cabby one day still....

If you just remove the spoiler from a standard coupe you're not far off that look!
