Halfords one is fine imo, only about £25 and you can always take them back if they brake or leak fluid.

I've got one of these from Machine Mart, good quality and reasonably low entry + decent high lift

No, but if you clean it up with degreaser and then take it back in and play the. "i only bought this the other day and now its fooked" part they end to give in and give you a new one.

Specially if you say it almost collapsed white you were changing your wheels and it nearly crushed your £2000 carbon ceramic brake disks.

          Works every time..

Thanks for the replies but is the one in this link strong enough for our Audi's?

That's a really nice jack. A friend of mine has one. The low profile is very useful and it's lightweight makes it easy to move around. Machine Mart are usually excellent should you have any future problems and they also supply spare parts for most of the Clark jacks.

I've just bought this one in there VAT free promotion... http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/pr...smission-jacks

It's a monster and is very heavy but it's great to have a more substantial and higher lifting jack alongside my smaller one.

That rubber lift pad is a bonus on the Aluminum jack. I've been after one of those for years for my jack!
Anyone know where to get one at all?
