Rear Light Differences,

Just noticed my tail lights are different, on the left side the orange part of the light has orange stripes on it, on the right hand side there red.

I think the car has been damaged on the rear right so i would lay money the "nice one" is the one that has been replaced in the past. Question is what is it off? Later model, S2, cab ??

Hasn't the right one been sprayed to a darker tone?

Just had a look at my ABY S2, both my lights resemble the right had side colouring of your pic. Not sure when the changeover was but it can only be coupe cos the cab has completely different lights.

Yup, ABY's have the red stripes across the orange bit to make them blend in better. I would think some early ABY's had the 3B style lights with orange indicators.

But a rule of thumb is ABY was the red strips over the orange bit and 3B's are orange.

The worrying thing is it is one of the fastest growing car clubs. They are also very well organised. I'd never fit in.

I saw on ETKA following...

If u r ordering a new headlamp, and the part number is the same as the "old" one, u get the other side for free with the same colour..

That notice was in year 2000...maybe they've produced a lil bit different color of the rear lights...

Who knows....

There was an article in a clasic car magazine about them. It created a bit of an uproar at the time.

Gay people have been made to feel unwelcome when they joined car clubs and so they set up their own. The same people who made them feel unwelcome then slag them off for starting their own Club! you can't win!!

I make no judgement about other peoples desires in the bedroom, as long as no-one speaks badly about me and my sheep I don't mind Baa, baa.
