URS4 Avant Smoked tail lights

[93URS4Avant]

Greetings,

Many moons ago I saw a set of smoked tailgate and rear brake lights for an avant on ebay.de - I have never seen a set since and would like to understand if anyone knows of anyor if they can be obtained? They do seem to be the proverbial hen's teeth whilst having the look and feel of the mut's nuts!

Treser they are. Not produced anymore. Considered to be a rarity therefore. Possible to find used ones, expensive though.

Apparently a good bodyshop / painter can do this smokey effect - ask likes of GT500 on here - but from memory its something like two drops of black paint into clear lacquer which is just sprayed on the lenses - same effect for a lot less money than original Tressers.

Always be careful if buying these on auction sites - plenty will be just sprayed lookalikes - the originals have a logo or something to make them properly unique.
