  • alloy channel?

    anyone know what the 2 small bits of alloy channel bolted to the underside of the footwells are for?

    Aren't these something to do with ground clearance? Something to protect the exhaust?
    Was a '93 3B, Dont ask now tho......

      if it is they don't work for me the bottom of my cats are getting thinner and thinner. oh well they will be gone soon
      anyone else have clearance problems with the exhaust on std. ride height?

            Yeah AFAIK those two ally plates are just to protect the exhaust and sump from hitting the ground on landings etc.

                LOL, they would do if it was for those bl**dy speed humps that just have a big lump in the middle of the road. They have worked on a nice bit of B road before, use to driving by myself but was taking my mum out for dinner one day and the extra person in the car was too much.

                  Worked for me, i was parked up on a kerb, drove off and got car stuck, cos they both hit the floor, had to give it a lot of revs to back back up again LOL, saved my exhaust tho from hitting the floor!
