Looking for Door Lock BTDT's

My passenger door locks fine except when you pull the handle the door doesn’t pop out like normal. Best was I can describe it is, when you pull the door handle the door opens about an inch on its own, as though its spring loaded. Mine doesn’t, the lock disengages but you have to physically pull the door out yourself.

Anybody know if this is fixable or do I need to go find a second hand latch unit?

P.S. It’s not a quick lube kind of problem as it’s well greased.

Time to kick the latch into touch, this is a common failing on all the 80 based locks. You could take her apart and try to make it better, not a lot to loose really!
