Vagparts (RIP) used to sell kits, but only made up from other VAG cars... the information of what is needed is on the forum somewhere....

Newer as in facelift model 91+ mine is a 89
Already did a search and found this .....

Well, I thought they 'fit' all s2's TBH - just need to pair 'em with the right blades.
Unfortunatley, I don't know the right part numbers for the blades.

James's contact said they fit 3b just look 'wonky' - whatever that means.

Hmm, as far as I know 1991 was the earliest the S2 was made... certainly not '89

If you mean it's a B3 coupe quattro hopefully Will can provide an answer.. good luck

I have a set of VAG-parts supplied aero wipers on my 9191 S2 coupe.
There is a difference in parts for LHD & RHD.

Do you need LHD OR RHD?
I could supply partnumbers & pictures of 91 LHD S2 with aerowipers

mine would be RHD just not sure if there would be any difference due to mine being a 89 model different bonnet grille ect

I have a set of the vagparts wipers, depending if the guy pays for them this weekend they could be back up for sale, I had them on the car for around 1000 miles before it came off the road so still in very good condition. I don't own the car anymore so they are spare.

Why would there be any difference from aby or 3b? or 2.0>2.8 for that matter it is all the same car "type 89" none of this b3 b4 with coupes.

mine isnt a s2 its a 1989 2.2E and i wanted to check as the bonnet and grill are different thought there could be a chance the wiper assembly could be different to

This info was posted by Jas a couple of years ago on Audifans, the part numbers have been superceeded now but that shouldnt matter when ordering the parts.

a little confusing, so here goes.

Longer blade = 1J2 955 426A (Passat)
Shorter blade = 1J2 955 425A (Lupo)

The part numbers are "6X2 998 405" but if you were to order this, you'd get the arm "and" the blade. You need two of these (arms).


In summary;
2 x lupo arms
1 x lupo blade
1 x passat blade

which boils down to,
6X2 998 405 x 2 (two lupo arms with blades)
1J2 955 426A x 1 (passat longer blade)

You'd then have one short lupo blade spare.
Daft that you can't order the arms on their own!!
