trim removal around side windowa

can anyone tell me how to remove the trim above the side windows on an 80 avant? Also is the D pillar Black trim specific to a RS2 or is it shared with a S2??

you need to be more specific. which windows exactly??

oops sorry, Black plastic trim runs above all the side windows from A pillar backwards.

aha so the one on the outside? you have to slide out the cover inside the trim (to the front of the car) The trim itself is mounted with rivets.
