    To this:

Please don't point out the S2 badge is very slightly off level. I know it ****** shifted as the epoxy was drying and now it's set solid do there is no way of moving it.

As you can see below the grill has no cut out for the bonnet catch. You remove part of the catch and can release it by sliding your fingers under the bonnet.

          Dont you read?

Looks good, sure its easy enough to snip away the part of the grill to allow the bonnet release too.

You pull the release under the dash wich pops the bonnet as mormal, then slip your hand up behind the grill and pull the (modified) bonnet catch forward. Hey presto!

All I've had to do is saw off the bit of the bonnet catch that normally sticks out with the plastic bit on it. Apart from that it's the same.

By modifying the catch in this way there is no need to snip any holes in the grill at all. Very neat

Next time you open your bonnet instead of pulling the plastic bit of the catch push your hand up behind the bonnet - it works, honest

Leigh - that looks the biz alright. And that badge is straight enough - your eye are wonky. Think I'll have to get one - it will be the first item of 'bling' on my car - it needs something I can tell you. Kak brakes, boaty suspension, broken aircon, scarred rims, knackered tyres and some 'kin annoying squeaks nowadays. I haven't spent serious money on mine in 3yrs of ownership - mostly cos I've been lucky so far and not had big things need replacing, but I'm gonna have to bite the bullet now. I'm just so depressed after seeing Eric's car again today - with 26k miles it looks like it arrived from Scotland on a Star Trek teleport system. Absolute minter ! I have a serious case of Audi-Envy
