  • New S2 Badge

I've just recently bought a new rear S2 badge for my 3B, red paint had become a bit faded on it. Anyone know what the best adhesive is to put the new one on? Also, am I right in sayin that i would just remove the old one with a flathead screwdriver? (how would i remove the excess adhesive that is already there?)

    cheers

Gentle application of heat and dental floss is the best way. Any adhesive left over needs to be removed with hot soapy water or a dedicated tar and glue remover like Autosmart Tardis, or there is a sticker remover available at halfords.

You will need some 3M type double sided foam tape to put the new one on. Don't forget to take a good measurement of where the new badge should go once you have taken the old one off!

    Cheers,

    Steve.

This is much better than the foam pads, and doesnt make the badge stick out as much
