    Removing plastic door mouldings

The external door mouldings on one side of my S2 have been chipped along the top edge. Not sure why but looks like some heavy handed person has tried to remove them in the past. The door skin is unmarked. Does anyone know the best way to remove the mouldings so I can repair and repaint them without damaging the mouldings or door skin?

Rob, these are stuck on mate, so the only option really is to use parcel strapping to 'cut through' the existing sticky stuff, clean it up and then get some molding re-fix tape from a body shop. You MIGHT be able to get the old moldings off and MIGHT be able to re-stick them down using the refit tape. Notice there's a lot of mights there!!!

A coupe door moulding in primer is £47.65+vat so be careful with your ones.

Thanks for the useful advice Martyn. I will have a go at the weekend.
