Fix one thing and something else breaks!

I went at the rear lights on the S2 coupe this afternoon... needed a new bulb. In the process I heard a rattling of parts behind the wall of the boot...
This is what fell out when I took the boot lining out....

Needless to say I am now looking for a new boot lock arm mechanism.


Do you know anyone with these available?

It's lucky that Audi's build quality is so high otherwise these cars would have fallen to pieces by now

I just keep telling myself that it's worth it. Usually manage to get one drive a month where I return with no problems on the car... usually...

If it help the smaller wire thing is the retaining clip off an injector plug.
The allen head bolt and washer I think is off the plastic tail gate trim

I thought that I was prepared for these type of expenses... Just not so soon...lol.

The barrel is still in place and turns when the key is used... Just that the components which hold the barrel to the arm have shattered.
Fun and games, at least I got the garage to store the car safely.
