sun roof

I have a problem with my sun roof it opens but will no close anyone got any ideas on this for me

broken cable most likely, have you tried lubing the guides and cables??? otherwise it's a sod of job, roof lining out i think or at least dropped at the front of the car, there is a way to remove the sunroof panel which involves dropping the headliner to get to the screws that hold it inplace. cables aren't or weren't available on their own, you could try a webasto sunroof fitting centre to see if they can help, only other thing it could be the motor, but normally the cables wear and stretch in the same place causing the cable to slip/skip on the motor
