  • removing hammerite off ellipsoids

stupidly was busy yapping to my mrs on the phone whilst blackening my ellipsoids. ive painted 2 sets before on previous s2's and should of twigged i know but ended up painting the main beam reflector part.

can i remove it using thinners/petrol etc?

Don't know if you can or not but you will deffo need to re-silver these !
Wiped one of my ellipsoids with white spirit because it looked dull compared to the other one and it took the silver layer straight off

I've got two numbers of places that re-silver these if your interested
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2
