Audi 80 Sunroof Seal

Hi Does anyone know how to change the sunroof Seal ,is it very easy or does it require full strip down of roof lining etc??

Any help would be great.

To take out the sunroof panel, you need to remove the sunroof trim on the inside to gain access to the retaining bolts. This is held in with 2 clips at the front and 2 at the back. You need to move the sunroof back 6" and have a good look around!

You might be able to do it in situ by moving the sunroof up and back to get access...

once you have the sunroof trim off there are 4 star head bolts that hold the roof panel to the motorised cradle.
Whip these off then remove the sunroof panel.

yeah when i did mine i took the who thing out, was easy, though can be fun to get the roof aligned again but not a nightmare
