is there a successful way to treating lacquer peel, or is it one of tho's things you gotta live with?

If its not metallic you can buff the lacquer and blend it in with the colour coat underneath, put loads of wax on after and it looks OK.
If it is metallic the above process is much more visible put if its peeling bad you ain't got a lot to lose in giving it a go.
Also with non metallic you can sand back the lacquer with a p800 wet and dry and providing you don't break through the color coat have a lacquer only respray.sigpic
