  • Matt bit under bumper

On the s2 avant front bumper, is it possible to remove the lower section of matt plastic without causing damage or needing to repaint the entire upper section? My wife has caught several kerbs over the last couple of years and Its heavily scuffed.

Considering wrapping this part in carbon fibre vinyl wrap as a disguise.

if his misses keeps catching it having it painted will make it stand out loads more once she catches it again and it will look even worse. you could have the black lower section re textured

            Donnie, you posted so........

Bill your wife for the rectification damage to get the point across.

Once is forgivable, twice is careless, and the third time is grounds for divorce, or at least a good arguement.

Does she not realise the significance of this car in your life? If not, it's your fault.

Obviously one of you is not taking the matter seriously.

Plus I doubt the vinyl will stick to it with it been textured.
Just some finishing touches to do now

Considering doing this with mine (was cracked by previous owner, and a piece actually broke off when I went through the deep snow last winter ).
