What type of Plastic are B4 Bumpers made of ?

As per the the above question.

Also, how did anyone repair B4 rear bumpers when either of the bumper's "flaps" that attach to the trailing side of the rear wheel arches become detached from both ends of the bumper ?

ABS plastic it is, very good material, the welders can do magic with it...
