    RS2/S2 avant door sills

Got an promising email today from Audi Tradition concerning door sills/foils. I have been fretting over how I was going to resolve my problem of not having a new set to put on the RS2A.

    Dear Sir,

we are planning to produce new sill strips with partnumber 8A0 853 491A/492A 01C and need to know how many people would be interested in buying one. This part fit´s on Audi RS2 and Audi S2 Avant and sedan. Prices are not calculated now but it will probable more than 40€ each. We would be thankful hearing from you!

    Best Regards
I, of course, responded promptly saying please, please, please!!

If there is anyone else who would like to have these produced please speak up.

    Hi Tom,

wow, you're quick. Just had the same E-mail, answering my E-mail of over a year ago re. these strips (I ruined them myself while taken them off, in advance having checked ETKA, but overlooked the remark that they were NLA...). So still have them, but severely ripped...

There is a God after all..

Needless to say, ordered 2 sets.
    T.

attached a pic of the covers. They are on top of the sill extensions/covers. They're fixed with double-sided tape. Bomb-proof. That's why they're all broken during removal.

I would also like a full set of the external lower door sills which I will also mention to Mr Funk.
