@Newsh, yes the car rolled of the ramps.
Placing wheels and tyres underneath the car is sound advice when using axle stands and is something that I would normally do. I didn't do that this time as I was working in a confined lockup space.
I think it is fair to say that my awareness and practices of working safely has been refreshed and revised since the accident.
The lousy weather has prevented me from doing anything more with this for now.
