bonnet not releasing think cable has snapped

Tips on getting bonnet open. Passengers side I can get my hand under but that's it.
Any suggestion???

I had it happen on my s6 a few months back,from memory it is the air inlet pipe that gets in the way on the driverside.I managed it but can't remember exactly what I did now but it was all done from underneath

Its probably one of the two white plastic cable clips that has broken BTDT.

I had this on the S4 - you need a very long screwdriver - or a steel rod which allows you to poke it up towards the mechanism - and move it away from the mechanism opening the bonnet- basically its a little fiddly but very do-able!

With the belly pan off, that is. You need to push the levers towards the centre of the car, as shown here:

Had a look today. Can get the passenger side open and onto the cable but no luck getting drivers side. The air scoop for the air box is in the road. I can see at least I clip is broken. Any other ideas. Maybe just need a 2nd person to pull the lever as I pull the cable.

the replacement plastic clips that you buy from audi are *****,I can't get them to clip into the metal,others have had same problem.I ended up using zip ties(there are small holes near the clips you can use)

I see a cable tie used to replace one clip but its broken. Probably why it is not opening.
