    Off an A6 avant I've seen most commonly...

          looks like he's taken the whole middle panel/lights from a A6 and made them fit the 80, he must have added/drilled/modded for the lock and barrel

          have 5cylinders, quattro and 20 valves, but no turbo yet

              Actually seen them on quite a few 80's and cabriolets.

              BTW, Fat Audi 80...I couldn't pull that link up
