    RS2 Mirror Bases

    Hi Guys,
    The bases on my RS2 mirrors are corroding badly and the paint is blistering. Is it possible to get the part number for them or are they only available with the complete mirror ?

    Has anyone else had this problem ?

    Anybody know where I can get , or does anyone have a damaged mirror I could canabalise ?? Is it a match with any of the porsche models, 964, 993 bases or are they unique to the RS2?

    Appreciate any help you can give.

      Hi Paul had this with my old black RS2...any half decent body/paint shop will be able to sort them out easilly...a friend did mine but hes now living in New Zealand.

          The RS2 mirror bases are unique to the RS2 AFAIK. They are only available as a complete unit.
          I painted mine myself. The bases are aluminium IIRC.

              The paint on one of mine is also blistering and it's going into the body shop on Monday to have it fixed.
