No snow where i am yet but im gunna put mine back on soon. When you drive through a puddle it must chuck a fair amount of water inwards towards the engine plus the dirt that comes with it.*Comment

The splash guard also decreases drag, as the uncovered underside of the engine is horrible from an aerodynamic standpoint. It weighs approx. 2kg, but the decrease in drag will more than make up for that. I should go out and test where the performance graphs (drag vs. speed) cross, but there is too much salt on the roads these days.1995 RS2 on Alcohol (6.8sec 100-200km/h)
