RS2 Rear Reflector - part number

I found it impossible to find this part number from any schematics - the RS2 boot lid drawings don't even show it, so I best guessed, Portsmouth Audi got it for me and bingo

For anybody that needs this number : 8A9 853 489 B

where was the number jamo ? it was nowhere on here or as far I could ever find on Google - the German eBay seller doesn't list a number (of course) .... there's always lots of chatter about it but never a part number - until now

If you look in Etka it is in the electrical section under tail lights. Item (5)-trim for cap.

I have seen it state "Trim for flap" (flap=hatch??)

Yes, I know - but [5] hardly clear as it doesn't look correct - definitely doesn't look like any reflector on any RS2 i've ever seen .... and until today the part number had never been written online as a searchable number using the normal description of what it is (outside of VAG programs) and staggering that it's never found itself somewhere inside S2Forum .... like I've been banging on about lots of chatter but nobody ever put the number.

I was just pointing out that the PN is shown in the electronic parts catalogue (and confirming the already confirmed PN). Sometime it takes a LOT of work to find what you need/want. Try finding the strut tower stress bar sometime. (Hint: Doesn't show in any illustrations and is NOT called a "bar") But it is there.

Thanks for thank, does it include the red handle that one would pull to open the boot, or is it just the red panel itself ?

If it is separate do you have the part number and cost for the red "grab" handle ?

Red handle is Separate and was nla 6 years ago when I wanted one before getting one from germany although I don't trust stealers
Might be available check with s2avant
