Whats the difference between LHD and RHD RS2 wing mirrors?
Does the glass just have to be changed to use LHD ones on a RHD car?

I wouldn't bother with the glass - they are useless

LOL agreed, its a whole new driving experience, get used to turning your head a lot or using the 'Force' to detect traffic around you

      Look nice though!

They are not as good as the standard ones but you do find you have to adjust them depending on what sort of roads you are driving.

I thought you could get the glass that has the twin angle reflection - what ever you call it - maybe try the porsche websites?

I bought a new mirror glass for my nearside one, I got it from Design 911, and it is kind of convex giving a wider if not slightly distorted view.

Family album does show flat or convex glass was available. Must admit I love the look of them but I drive by mirrors a lot (too many teenage years driving vans and land-rovers) plus I'm too lazy to turn my head.

Never had to adjust mine for different roads - get it right and you shouldn't have to! Mine are definitely convex glass, so they definitely make cars appear to be further away - the interior mirror proves they are closer. Like anything else, I got used to it. I've had one 80 and one coupe with the normal mirrors and to be honest it's only the larger glass area that you tend to miss a bit, other than that I find them to be perfectly adequate.

My only concern is getting them wiped out on narrow roads - I had the offside hit by an Escort van ages ago, but the little mark on it was easily polished out. Then I had it struck again by a Volvo which was out of control on snow. No damage this time, but I was mighty lucky to still have the side of my Kitty in one piece! I drove up a grass bank to achieve that near miss - and only just avoided getting beached, there was a deep ditch barely six inches further across!!!

I don't think they're that bad. Didn't take me long to get used to the smaller glass area & I don't have to adjust them either.
