Original paint colour of the S2 sill

At one stage in its life my S2 has had the sills colour coded to the rest of the car, I am in the final stages of a full respray and I would like them to be returned to the original finish.

Can anybody adivse what colour and finish is standard.

I think it is like a sort of satin black similar to the rubber trim on the door and side panel.

Does anybody know

I used stone chip low down and overpained with satin black

Forgive me for saying this but I am looking for the original finish.

It is presently stone chip with green base and clear top coat finish.

I value all opinions but in this case only the original colour and finish is acceptable.

I indicated it looks like satin black on pictures I have seen but it could be more like a dark grey.

I hope somebody has the answer or it is back to Audi and weeks of waiting before I can resume the paint job.

Audi South Africa phoned me today and said they are waiting for Germany to respond with the colour code and the style of finish.

They told me they should have an answer by Thursday.
