Does anyone supply/fit deadlocks for the s2 avant?

seeing as the original mechanisms don't have the workings inside for a deadlocking feature - the only way you'd be able to do it is with aftermarket electric units..... which would be a little pointless & the vacuum system (slow) probably wouldn't like being forced by an electric system (fast operating).

I suppose you could remove the pneumatics though.....?
I had a quite reasonable deadlocking system on my old golf.
Made by sempal it did the job but was a bit noisy about it (two zippy noises - one as the locks went down, then another as a plastic bolt was shot across inside the motor unit)

    Round about £150 RRP fitted.....

Wierd, My 94 Golf Driver has a pneumatic system and also has deadlocks, when i lock the car about 3 seconds later the pump runs again and deadlocks the car, i have tried it from within the car to see if the deadlock works and it will not let me out once locked this way, it just fights me and relocks it (Bloody strong aswell), had to open the window to unlock it.
