    Help with ETKA needed / halogen part number

    I bought some 3B headlights, I've cleaned them but I don't like the state of the halogen part. So I want to change them.

    For the left headlight, on the back of the halogen part I found this part number:

    895941004j

    But when I've googled it I can't find anywhere???

    For another left headlight S2 3B I've ordered once this part number 895941151C...
    Maybe the headlights I've received now are not 3B ones?

    Can somebody please help me and tell me what 895941004j represents (for what headlight model is that part number) and also what part numbers should I order?

    Back away from the cleaner in the bottle. It will take the "chrome" right off the plastic.

      Yes I found that the hard way last time when I did a cleanup of a S2 headlight

      That's when I also found out that you can buy separately the halogen part.

        895941004J is described as "Twin halogen headlights". This part is no longer available as such and was replaced by 895941030D "Twin halogen headlights" *and* 165945295 headlight range control motor. Apparently the 895941004J came with the motor (?).

        As the searching evolves, we learn that 895941030D was replaced by 895941030G on 31/08/1993. 895941030G seems to be a B4 style headlight.

        895941030G = LHD, right side
        895941029G = LHD, left side

        895941029F = RHD, left side
        895941030F = RHD, right side

        Main beam bulb = N 0177632, YD12V60/55W H4
        Secondary beam bulb (Fog?) = N 0177612, 12V55W H1

        Hope that helps.

          I think 895941004J / 895941030G it's the part number for the entire headlight not for only the halogen part. Can you check please and see what's the part number for the halogen part of this particular headlight?

            I gave you the PNs for the HALOGEN H1 and H4 bulbs. Any chance that you have Xenon and Halogen mixed up in your head?

              These are part numbers for the complete headlight...

              Also searched on google images... it brings up only pictures with the complete headlight...

                Those head lights use conventional H1 and H4 Halogen bulbs. They are not Xenon HIDs. I don't think you understand that. Here is a link to a Halogen versus Xenon HID discussion: http://www.squidoo.com/hid-bulbs-halogen-bulbs

                Items 12 and 13 from the 895941030G parts page show that there are no HID ballasts, etc. just conventional Halogen bulbs:

                      is it just the one side you need or both as i have quite a few spare parts for these lights so probably have a good one of them if you want me to look.

                        Well at least that is sorted. Thanks Mario.

                        I would have used the word "reflector" but English is my first language.

                          No problem. However, the brick wall did take some hits earlier today.

                          Hope you get the reflectors you need.

                            I need them both. Do you have them in new condition?

                              Hehe I hope the wall is OK

                              In Romanian that's how we would call it, the halogen part... part as -a portion, division (of the headlight).
