Respray and body work advice neaded

I have been given a quote of £550 plus paint to do the following.
Replace driverside wing, which I have to supply.
Respray the hole front end, including bonnet and blend in the doors ect.
remove and respray sunroof, and tuch up the rear bumper plus small scratches hear and there.
The car is Emeraled pearl and it is a coupe.Just wondered if this sounds about right or not.I have no idea my self, so would welcome some advice. The guy comes highly recomended.

aslong as they do a good job of it that price doesn't sound so bad to me(depending on how much the paint is),I have tried to save money on having cars painted and I have had to have them done again on at least 3 occasions

Price sounds ok, however if you supply the materials you'll be responsible for the paint match! Not the best position to be in if the paint shop are blending the wings into the doors. I would suggest you pay for materials and get them to match the paint and supply. You'll be looking at some Emerald green basecoat and they should already have the clearcoat to finish it off.

Sounds good to me you'll prob want a couple of litres of paint plus lacquer. Having helped prep a few cars to get a good finish is difficult, as people always say the better the prep the better the finish

The cost of body work is mostly in the labour so you always have to question a cheap bodywork quote. Time is money!
The price above sounds about right to me.
There are ways you can save some money - do as much of the prep work yourself, and remove the wing, bumper, bonnet, sunroof etc etc for them

Mee too...i was in the same boat...I spent 1100 euro for a full respray and in 6 months the paint has started to crack an peel.
Spend some more money and do a proper job.
                    Goodluck!
