Is it just me that thinks matt and satin wraps look gash? Seems like every man and his dog is getting it done

I'm really considering wrapping my Mk2 golf. But I'm with Alex on this I'm really not a big fan of matte. Would have to be gloss for me.

Yes and no I think they both serve a purpose, a show car with ÂŁ ,000's spent on paintwork or a cracking stock RS/s2 should shine in the sun like staring into an LED.

A true sleeper shouldn't be seen= matt finish

        Just my view

I've been trying to work out how to get the chrome trims on the S6 changed to black for a while. Painting seems like a PITA, so I'm going to try plasti dip. Anyone tried it? Looks simple here!

I used insulating tape to do mine I've only done one side so far, just to see how resiliant it is, but it looks great. I'll post some pics at the weekend.

I started that up a while back, but getting a new job and my other small business I haven't had the time to take on all of the jobs or put alot of work into the business itself, its not a terrible product nor is it up to par with vinyl, but it wouldn't be at a fraction of the cost of a wrap.....

After seeing that Plastidip video I think I'll try that on the other side.

Well the tape looks pretty good on that photo! If you do the other side in plastidip, could you let me know how it goes?

                    Cheers,
                    Tom
