I'm planning on having the front bumper grills taken off, blasted and powder coated.
The middle one is looking a bit tatty with rust showing in a couple of places.
Does anyone know if the OEM paint was matt or gloss black?
I have an RS2 bumper but no grilles....are you saying that 3 RS4 grilles would give enough materials for the RS2 bonnet grille, the centre bumper grille and the two outside bumper grilles?
Cheers

Yes. I used x2 as I had a different plastic grill for the bonnet.
You use one as is and the second you cut to fit to the sides of the bumper. The middle section leaves 2 very small lines on the sides without coverage but they are not noticeable. Only looking at certain angles.

I was looking at mine recently. Aren't they that wrinkle finish?
the center piece can be mounted roughly with the original screws or a few tyreups. However i had an incident the first time i drove to the uk, behind a lorry, a small rock was sent off his tyres , broke a tyreup and hit my intercooler making a dent. NOthing else serious though. Bad luck i guess, as many run their cars without any mesh and have no problems.
anyway, i like it so much more than the original grill which i just replaced the tireup and that was it. no problems since
