S2 sideskirt retaining rings

I wanted to order missing retaining stuff for S2 sideskirts, but looks like rings that comes in holes under the body, are NLA.
Part number 39. (8A0854955) is what I'm talking about:



I did some searching and it turns out that cover, part nr 40 (8A0854953) is shared between S/RS2 and B5S4. Good thing is that ring for B5S4 is available, part nr 13 (8D0854955B) in picture below:



Bad thing is that part number is bit different and it MAY not fit.
So the question is - are they compatible? Anyone has any experience with this?

yes you can use it, you just have to cut a bit off with a knife. too easy to be true
