audi a6 c4 bonnet adjustment setting

Could someone with a audi a6 c4, urs4 or urs6 measure the bonnet securing pins for me. The parts which are connected to the bonnet that lock into position. Setting from bonnet to top of bolt/spring.

Anybody like to measure for the bonnet pins size from bonnet to end.

You really need to adjust them to each car.

First off, raise the bonnet about 1 foot and drop it. If the locking pins engage and the bonnet shuts properly your adjustment is correct. If pins don't engage you need to loosen the castellated nut and unscrew the lock pin. When you've made the necessary adjustments you need to use a screwdriver to hold the lock pin while tightening the castellated nut. A bit of trial and error is needed here to get the right adjustment.

Thanks sorted now. Passenger side pin clip was abut sticky so got some lub on it.
