Bumpers Question

Quick few questions, im sure someone will know the answers.


1. Will Front and Rear bumpers off a 1996 coupe (2.0 8v) fit a 1993 B4 saloon (TDI)? Do i need the coupe brackets? Exhaust cut in the same position?
2. Same with headlights, on this coupe they have a singular headlamp as opposed to split. Will the brackets line up on the front panel?

Just before i purchase them online i want to be sure. Thanks

Check out my thread, I've got a 1993 80 saloon with an s2 bumper and coupe headlights. Don't know about the rear but the front goes on easy and at headlights lineup no worries.

Great Andy thanks, Are the 2.0 coupe bumpers and S2 bumpers the same bar the lower splitter vents? Were the brackets the same mate?

Brackets are different shape is different and sides are shorter on coupe bumper.
S2 bumper grills are the same as V6 coupe and completely different from 2.0. Brackets on these two are the same but different from standard b4 bumper, but if you get coupe/s2 bumper with brackets, it will be straight bolt on.

ACOQ (8B) rear bumper is 895807301A which does not cross to the A80Q (8C = B4)

A80Q regular (non-S2) sedan (saloon) and avant rear bumper is 8A0807305AE which does not cross to the ACOQ

A80Q S2 sedan and avant rear bumper is 8A0807305S which does not cross to the ACOQ

Nothing you can't make fit with a pair of tinsnips and a big F'n hammer.

I have fitted S2 estate bumpers on a 80 16v quattro saloon.
The rear bumper fits but you need to modify where it connects in the wheel arch area.
The front bumper was a straight swap

Thanks for all replies, the front bumper is coming complete with brackets so i should be all ok, Not as nice as the S2 bumper but nicer than the standard Tdi bumper without a doubt. i will take the rear bumper anyway if i can get it cheap, might be able to use the lower splitter or something.

BTW I have seen guy from Poland fitting coupe rear bumper on saloon but it's just too much work to be worth it.

The S2 rear bumper hasnt got a black rub strip where other saloons have!!
