Will V6 Coupe Front Bumper Fit S2 Avant, A few questions?

Im under the impression the V6 front bumper is exactly the same as the S2 but minus the 2 headlamp washers? are all the dimension inside exactly the same so it could possibly fit on a S2 Avant?

Also I think I have read somewhere, should you want to upgrade to HID's that you must have headlamp washers? Is this true and why?

The reason I ask is because I am now trying to restore a S2 Avant with some subtle body mods, and I also have a coupe that is MINT with a V6 front bumper!

Another question! Has anyone ever removed the door trims running down the middle for a smoother look and would this be viable??

I do not really understand your query Louis as your S2 avant should already have a S2 bumper complete with washer jets
But yes they are identical in every way but I think some of the lower grills on the S2 bumper are not blocked off from the rear like the V6 one.

HID's can be fitted without the washer jets, just depends how friendly you are with your MOT tester !

Ah sorry, it's because the current S2 bumper has a bad crack in the middle on the black under bit, and now after it being trailered and a visit to the garage some tool has broken the corner off about 2 inches where the bumper meets the arch, so I now have like a triangle shape missing

Another reason I ask is I like clean lines and If I can do away with the jets then I may as well use the V6 bumper (I think I have S2 non blocked inserts in the lower grills also)

I think I will be selling the coupe as I'm wanting to now get the Avant to the same condition as the Coupe, hence the questions, and it would seem stupid to sell the car and then spend £200-£300 trying to find a mint bumper when I had one on the coupe, if that makes sense?
