Still thinking how fix a door hinges. They are not holding doors at their positions.New are too expensive,so i am decided to fix that,if its possible, do you have experience with repairing or you just buy a new ?

            Get the passenger side hinges
They get used less so will be in better shape

If you take 2 bolts out the hinge there are allen key bits underneath that you can turn to align/move the door.

My car is outside, does anyone know if the front and rear hingers are interchangeable ?

I presume from the comment in an earlier post that they are not handed, and a passenger one will work on a driver's door.

Notwithstanding any of the above, is there anyway to refresh the notches on the lower hinge mechanism to get the door to stay fully open when the car is facing uphill ?

I'm thinking take the fresher bits off a rear hinge and fitting them to a drivers hinge ?

Sorry for the thread hijack, but hopefully, it is relevant to the thread.

                      Thanks.

Yeah, hinges are not handed so can be swapped from side to side
They are specific to coupe/cab though, I assume due to the extra weight of the door
Part number for the avant is same front and rear, so again these could be swapped front to back and side to side
