  • Body trim question

    Hello guys!

Does anybody knows how this metal trim holds to the body panel on the RS2?
There is two pins on the back of them but ETKA does not show any plastic insert to use to secure them in place
    Are they glued on

Thank you for any input guys

If you look in A6Q, say 1995, MG 8, SG 53, Illustration 853-20, you get a better idea how the B4 avant (and RS2) "d" pillar trim should work, i.e. C4 item 2A fits into the Item 3 expanding nut (plastic insert), PN 893853231A. When you run a ATP cross reference, 893853231A shows up as an RS2 "d" pillar part in RS2 illustration 853-00 as item 20. The trim, which looks like, item 19 but Item 19 has no PN. BUT just above the Item 20 listing, I see 8A9853215 (left) and 8A9853215 (right) which is probably the B4 Avant "d" pillar trim.

    Hope that made sense.
