Buy the mechanism from the US and good luck! I hope you are good with bodywork modifications!! I am sure you could modify one intended for another vehicle. You have to assess how much room there is behind the A-pillar so you may have to modify the door to find enough room. The door catch also requires repositioning on most of these kits. Some of the kits move the door outwards before lifting which reduces the amount of reshaping required on the door.

Only Lambo thing I'd want on my S2 is the wheels from the Gallardo.

because i'm a nice guy and not a **** disturber, i will not get into a debate on personal tastes. it's your car, do what you want with it.

however, on a practical side, i hope you're skinny! seriously. i've seen these in person and they leave a little slot about 14" wide for you to clamber in and out of.

i also wouldn't be surprised if the door didn't fit so well after either.
