there is a damaged body pannel on a coupe im looking at buying (the one circled) the owner is supplying a prepped replacement pannel but i was wondering how difficult it is to remove and replace these pannels and also if they eva fit back properly, also the on board computer ( code display pannel) is broken and was wondering if it a strait swap from any other coupe/80/90?? also with the 2.2 10 v coupe quattro are there any other things i should especially look for?

That panel is part of the whole rear quarter of the car. Id suggest it would be far easier and cheaper to have it repaired by a bodyshop than get them to fit a complete rear quarter.
Nice looking coupe though

thanks for quick responce, do you know how much a body shop would usually charge as it is only costing 750 so dont really want to spend too much.

Depends what sort of quality repair to be honest. And also what sort of damage that needs to be repaired. Normally expect about £100 per panel depending on hw much repair work needs done. Whereabouts are you? got the number of a a good bodywork guy near me.
Nice one
