  • Coupe windscreen same as cabriolet?

Just a long shot but would anyone with access to ' the family album' mind cross referencing part numbers between coupe and cabriolet windscreens?

I would imagine they're different however with the new group buy for heated screens, I thought I'd double check

    Cheers

Ruffiano knows it for sure, pm him

here you go: "The coupe windshield is unique. Cabrio does not fit."

          93 and up Cabriolet windshield = 8G0845099P

          90 and 91 Coupe Quattro windshield = 895845099P

Close but no cigars. Neither part crosses to anything else.

I thought the first few numbers were the car code, so as long as the last numbers match is should be the same??

You are correct about the first three letter/numbers = car

If Audi has one part that fits on other cars, the parts cross from one car listing to the other, with a common part number. If the part numbers are different and they don't cross to any other car, then the likelihood that they will fit on another Audi is very low, regardless of the similarities of the final 6 or 7 digits/letters.
