Washer Jet Woes

Just given the car a bit of a shake-down to make sure the battery is charged, clean the brake discs, top-up the screenwash etc but it seems both front and rear washer jets are not working, which is bloody annoying!

I figured it would be low screenwash or fuse 15, so i brimmed both the front and rear tanks and checked the fuse, but no luck.

I've checked all the hoses, nothing has popped off and nothing leaking, and all the connectors - all good.

There is no noise from either pump when you try to fire them... so i cant think of much else other than to change the pumps?

It just seems far to coincidental that both have stopped working at the same time - or could it be because they've not been used in a while?

Could it be the stalk contacts need cleaning to cause the pumps to work?

work the wisch-wash if you spray?
if not,probably your steering column switch is broke

My headlamp washer pump seized up because it's hardly used, try getting a live feed to the pump to confirm it's working.

hotwire the pump, also check the stalk switch and maybe the headlight washer relay (not sure if it is in the same circuit as the screen washer pump?)

Anybody got a diagram for the washer pump or any idea how to open it up?

I can see 2 plastic clips that look like they'll release the bottom or top plastic caps but it feels like its going to snap when I level them!

I'm not sure which pins are power to test either.

Got the front one working by giving it a clean, a good blow and a direct 12v supply

The rear one is not working though, I tried with brute force and mike grips to get it open but no luck - I think I'll just get a new one
