    Coupe boot seal advise needed

I noticed a chunk out of the rear boot rubber seal, and its letting in a little water.
Is it available new, if so is it an arm, and a leg. Or has anyone fitted a second hand one.
How much of a job is it to do.

No longer available from Audi, can fit generic seals no problems, and it is an easy job, just pull it off, and refit new one you may need to loosen trim on top of rear lights.

lol, another NLA. I noticed mine was pulling in on the drivers side lower edge allowing the water to come in again. Would be good if some generic stuff could fit in its place as I'm sure you could do a better job of getting the boot water tight.

Any part numbers or links to share - I may experiment once the weather dries up in prep for next winter

I'm sure a 2nd hand one in decent nick would be fine Lou but might be good to get some trim nourisher (forget the name but gumi or something, Fatty put a link to it ages ago and it does work well)

      Cheers
      David

            Apparently its carcinogenic.

I still use it as its brilliant, I just use disposable gloves when applying

Will be changing mine as it's damaged as well. I consider myself lucky to find a used part in good shape :-)
