urS6 - Links on how to take off a front Door Card ?
Has anyone any links for the removal of the front internal door card of a urS6, and the external door lock and handle ? Mostly the door card though. The link on Quattroworld doesn't work for me ? Thanks.
Not sure which link you are referring to.
I know this works and has details specific to removing the window switches in the arm rest which is needed to remove the door card from the car.
macspring you are asking all the questions I will be asking when I start working on my S6 . UrS4boy you have always got the answer or a link to the answer so I solute you
My goal is to have the answer to your question(s) before you have even thought of the question.

Also found this very good 'how to' on quattroworld.
I certainly have used that one and I linked it out of my driver's door window replacement DIY pdf. What it didn't have was the info about removing the window switch panel from the driver's door armrest, i.e.:
Insert 2" wide putty knife under trailing edge of the switch panel and push forward to depress spring clip and then pry up:
Window switches are colour marked to decrease the chance of a mistake when plugging them back in.
