They certainly aren't US spec. The US never had any models with that style bumper.

Doesn't seem to be home made. as it appears to have a reflector... But i've been searching for info, and nothing appears...

The US models of Cabrio never had this bumper with integrated turn signals, so either aftermarket or home made. It copies the way UrS6 US turn signals have integrated amber reflectors, so i kinda like them.

I know US models never had that bumper style, but as you can see in the picture below, that 80/90 from the eighties has that kind of turn signal, so he could be using that one.

Nope, Audi 80/90 in the US didn't get indicators in the bumpers either.
