Coupe rear bumper to avant

Hi, Im sure Ive read somewhere that it is possible to fix a coupe bumper to the avant, but that a modification....as in adding a few inches to the bumper both sides is a must.

Im sure I also read that the ends of the bumper, if the extenstion is done properly, will fit the arches without modification.

Im going to have a go hacking a spare S2 coupe rear bumper and see what can be achieved.....but any links to "this has been done before and "here are the pitfalls" appreciated.

Don't forget exhaust well have to be modified towards the centre of the bumper
