Hi - anyone know where to get them from or approximate cost?

Nearside one of mine is not looking its best - are they easy to replace?

Metal sills?
Ony original VAG ones exist. New sills should cost slightly more than 200GBP each.

It took me about 5 hours just to cut off accurately an old sill from the donor car. Did not replace them on my car yet.

Yup, it took me and Kit a whole day to remove a sill and 2 rear quarters off a donor shell. They are very well put together, not a job for the feint hearted!
