Hood carpet, 3B / ABY / ADU differences?

As the title says, does anyone know the difference (if any) between these hood carpets?
Is a 3B one usable on an ABY hood etc?

Kate is not being very specific about this.

The reason I'm asking is because I need one for my ABY and got offered a 3B one.
Will it fit?

it will fit, the silver/heat stuff above the airbox and turbo is different from memory

I cant Be certain but mine looks the same as my mate's aby avant and my brother's old 16 v coupe and another friends v6 the only difference appears to be the Heat shield.

Yes she is. You just have to pay better attention to what she is saying:

893863825 = sound absorber for engine "lid" up to VIN 8B-M-040000, i.e. somewhere in the middle (or end) of the 1991 model year.

8G0863825N = sound absorber for engine "lid", from VIN 8B-N-000001, i.e. from the start or the 1992 model year. This one also includes the B4s, cabriolets and the RS2.
